Who we are

SB Marketing ("we", "us") runs SB Engine, a client portal for businesses we run advertising campaigns for. This policy covers two different groups of people: our clients (trades and service businesses we work with) and the people who respond to those clients' adverts ("leads").

What we collect

  • From clients: business details, contact name, email, phone, login credentials, and the advertising/financial data needed to run and report on their campaigns.
  • From leads: name, phone number, email address, and whatever they wrote in the enquiry form, collected via Meta or Google advertising forms on behalf of our client, and passed to that client through this portal.

Why we process it

Client data: to provide the service they've contracted us for, and to invoice for it. Lead data: to pass a genuine enquiry to the business the lead contacted, on that business's behalf.

How long we keep it

Lead contact details are kept for a period configured per client (defaulting to 730 days) and then anonymised or deleted automatically — see our retention schedule. Client account data is kept for the duration of the contract plus a reasonable period for accounting and legal purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. If you responded to an advert and want your details removed, contact us using the details below, or contact the business whose advert you responded to.

Cookies

SB Engine only uses strictly-necessary cookies (to keep you signed in) and a device-local theme preference. We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie consent banner — none of it needs your permission under UK PECR rules for that reason.
